Hoyeeh (“we,” “our,” or “us”), a streaming platform administered under Cowrie Money, values your trust and is committed to safeguarding your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains in detail how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect personal data when you interact with our services.

Personal data may be transferred outside Cameroon for hosting, processing, or support services. Such transfers are permitted only when:

  • The receiving country offers an adequate level of data protection; or

  • Safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses are in place; and

  • Approvals are obtained from the Cameroonian DPA, where legally required.

This ensures that your data enjoys the same protection standards, regardless of where it is processed.

Hoyeeh is intended for users aged 18 and above. If a user is under 18, parental or guardian consent is required for account creation. Special protection measures are applied to any data concerning minors, in line with Cameroonian law.

Hoyeeh is registered with the Cameroon Data Protection Authority (DPA) and complies with its oversight requirements, including annual reporting. We also apply GDPR standards to ensure consistent protection for all users.

A Data Protection Officer (DPO) may be appointed to oversee compliance, handle privacy inquiries, and liaise with authorities.


11. Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that compromises personal data, we will:

  • Notify the Cameroonian DPA and, where applicable, EU supervisory authorities.

  • Inform affected users promptly, including the nature of the breach and measures taken.

  • Provide guidance on how to protect against potential harm.
