Our Story: From a Dream to a Movement

2023 — The Idea Sparked
We started Hoyeeh because we wanted something different. A space where African stories weren’t hidden, where you didn’t have to scroll endlessly to find content you actually connect with. We launched our app and opened the doors for everyone to stream African movies and series, wherever they are.

2024 — Growth Across Africa & Beyond
With word spreading fast, Hoyeeh crossed 5,000 users across Africa and the world. From Lagos to Nairobi, Accra to Johannesburg, young people, families, and film lovers started tuning in. We also worked with amazing African filmmakers to bring exclusive content to our growing audience.

2025 — Still Streaming Strong
